William Yeoward Carafes: A Wonderful Host/Hostess Gift!

According to NBC's Today Show "Trend Report" manners are a trend that never will go out of style. Saying "thank you" to a host or hostess is a must; especially if you ever want to get invited back. Showing your gratitude with a great gift is always a great way to guarantee that invite back. The "Trend Report" recommended some great gifts for your host or hostess including William Yeoward's carafes - and I can safely support this recommendation.

William Yeoward offers two luxurious carafes that can be used as a beautiful beverage service on the table or as a exquisite vase. The Wisteria Carafe by William Yeoward is my favorite and probably our most popular carafe. this crystal design is lovely and is accented with delicately etched leaves and vine. The Country Carafe is simple yet divine. It has the same crystal shape as the Wisteria Carafe but this one does not have the etched design. Say thanks to your summer host with William Yeoward's carafes.

Victoria & Richard Jewelry, sooo hot right now

Since Victoria & Richard started making jewelry, it has been a hot commodity. In particular, the Glass Menagerie jewelry collection made of a variety of colorful beaded animals. The Glass Menagerie has taken the spot light over on all their other jewelry collections, but those other collections are just as exquisite.

The Haberdashery necklace, bracelet, and earrings are filled with color and texture. The glass beads that separate each tassel are unique and wonderful. The Sparkling Grape collection is created with beautifully cut crystal spacers and each bunch of grapes is made with many colorful glass beads. This collection is also accented with ribbon or bows or both, adding a special touch. The Poppy Cock, March Fourth and Ribbit are all fabulous; the Poppy Cock necklace is full of roosters and the March Fourth is full of penguins, and the Ribbit is hopping with frogs. All of Victoria and Richard jewelry is wonderful and will make any outfit special.

Fine China as a Work of Art: Raynaud Limoges Tableware

I was at my cousin's house recently and in her dinning room she has her Raynuad Allee Royale china prominently hung on her wall as if it was a piece of art. It looks beautiful and it got me thinking, "china is an art and it should be displayed like any other sculpture or painting and not tucked away in a china cabinet."

The Raynuad Allee Royale, which like I said is my cousin's china pattern, is a perfect example as china as art. It is a wonderful combination of blues, golds and greens. The blue flowers are skillfully detailed and there is an intricate weave around the rim. It is a classic china pattern, that is, like any other work of art, timeless. This dinnerware can be used everyday and not just for dinner.

Classic and Elegant; Hawthorne Limoges Dinnerware by Raynaud Tableware

The Hawthorne Collection by Raynaud Tableware is classic and elegant. This collection may seem plain at first glance compared to a lot of Raynaud's collection, but it's beauty is in it's detailing. The detailing blends in quite lovely with the rest of the plate as it is all in white and just slightly raised. Around the rim of the plates and along the body of some pieces like the gravy boat there are beautiful flowers and leaves connected by vines. Each piece is cut with curves and scalloping to give it an extra flare.

The Hawthorne collection is so beautiful and simple that it would be wonderful for everyday use - that is if you like doing dishes by hand. However, this collection is elegant enough to be used in formal settings as well. It is a versatile collection that is also timely. Contre-Jour by Raynaud; Combining Photography and Porcelain

Contre-Jour dinnerware and serving pieces by Raynaud are inspired by the photography and designed by Marina Chastenet. Many of the photographs used are of flowers and plants. The photography used, suggested by the name Contre-Jour, was taken with the camera pointing directly towards the source of light. This creates a strong light and dark contrast that emphasizes lines and shapes - like the veins of leaves.

The Contre-Jour collection created nature-inspired pieces that show plants and flowers in their organic form. On each piece of Limoges porcelain there is a photographic image of flowers and plants, like poppies and hydrangea leaves, painted in their full intricacy. The Contre-Jour covered sugar bowl is striking. The almost transparent, sepia-hued, flower image is painted from the base upward, spilling onto the top of the lid.
