A Chic Look for a Modern Table; Jaune de Chrome

Jaune de Chrome's dinnerware and serving pieces have a distinguishable style. With a simple form, clean cut lines, and little ornament, these pieces posses a modern feel. The Spangled Black collection is just that; modern, chic, and unique. It almost has the look of a black granite but is made of a porcelain and then covered with an amazing glaze.

If you love coffee and tea as much as I do then you need to check out the Spangled Black Atoll Tea/Coffee Pot,the Spangled Black Atoll Creamer, and the Spangled Black Atoll Covered Sugar Bowl. These pieces are amazing and will work on with any modern table day or night.

Jaune de Chrome Bangs Big with Limoges Porcelain Dinnerware

Jaune de Chrome keeps fine china contemporary and exciting. The Big Bang Gold Collection by Jaune de Chrome is simply stunning. The glaze for this collection is a mix of shiny and matte gold, making the surface textured and beautiful.

The most interesting piece from this Big Bang Gold collection, in my opinion, is the Teapot/Coffeepot. I think it is absolutely striking. The handle and spout jut out from the unusually-shaped body and are shiny and un-glazed, not textured like the body.

If you are looking for unique and interesting yet beautiful and classy Limoges porcelain for your table, look no further, Jaune de Chrome has it! Click here to view all Jaune de Chrome dinnerware available at Sallie home.

Rustic Dinnerware for the Modern Table; Jaune de Chrome Aguirre Chinaware

One really only thinks about using their fine china for formal dinners and lunches, never for breakfast everyday. Jaune de Chrome’s contemporary fine china dishware is made to use for anytime of the day. In most their collections they include breakfast-ware for everyday use, like cereal bowls and mugs.
The Aguirre collection by Jaune de Chrome includes dinnerware for anytime of the day. It’s rustic finish is versatile enough to use for a beautiful breakfast in the morning or a formal get together at night. Someone said the finish made the plate look old and rusty; if this it true then is the most exquisite rusty plate I’ve ever encountered. I would be honored to eat off of it. The mix of glazing coupled with the gold or platinum rimming makes the plates shine and standout on the table. In this collection, one has their choice of No Finition, Gold Finition, and Platinum Finition – all equally stunning, it just depends on your color preference. It’s time to catch up with the times; go modern in your china use and style. Click here to view all of Jaune de Chrome’s spectacularly glazed fine china available at Sallie home.

All Shapes and Glazes for the Table: Jaune de Chrome

Jaune de Chrome is one of the most contemporary and innovative designers in the tabletop industry. They push the envelope, especially in glazing and shape, creating a unique look in fine china that has been utilized in many upscale hotels and restaurants.

Jaune de Chrome does the traditional round plate but I find his other, more shapely plates most interesting. For dinnerware they have the prelude plate and the square plate. The prelude plate is a curved square plate with a rounded center and the he square plate is completely squared with slightly rounded edges to smooth out the look. Both are phenomenally attractive, come in different sizes and will standout in any tableset.

My pick for the prelude shape is the Big Bang Gold Prelude Charger. Placing a round dinner plate atop of this charger will bring another dimension to the dinnerware set. For the square plate, I love them in the Bora Bora pattern. The Bora Bora square plates bring a dark and modern feel to the table. Fish and Tortoises for Dinner; Anna Weatherley Dinnerware

In an earlier blog, I talked about my affection for the Jaune de Chrome Tortoise dinnerware collection. After writing about these plates, I was looking at pictures from the New York City Showroom in the fall and saw a Tortoise Jaune de Chrome Charger combined with the perfect accent plate; the Anna Weatherley Antique Fish salad plate.

The Antique Fish collection is beautiful white porcelain, rimmed with gold, and in the center there is a hand-painted image of a fish. There are fifteen different salad plates to choose from for your tabletop, each featuring a different type of fish, varying in color and shape. My favorite fish are the ‘Aqua and Gold,’ ‘Lt. Blue/Yellow,’ and the ‘Orange, Lavender, Aqua.’ Whichever fish or fishes you choose, the gold rim incorporates perfectly with the Tortoise Plates, highlighting its beautiful flecks of gold and brown.

Juane de chrome Tabletop: Cream Scale Dinnerware

I learned a new word today - or should i say style - that is as cool as it sounds; Majolica. Mojolica is a pottery term in regard to a type of glazing process on earthenware. In Majolica, a white tin glaze is applied to the raw surface of the earthenware before being fired. Once applied, the pottery is then fired at a low temperature which restricts the flow of the glaze as it melts, producing a soft, opaque, directed, glossy surface. This is a unique glazing process that makes these ceramic pieces stand apart from other wares. A great example of this is the Cream Scale Dinnerware Collection by Jaune de Chrome.

The Cream Scale collection, available with either a platinum or a gold rim, is perfect for a contemporary setting or a formal event. The Finition Mug from the collection is the perfect start to any morning accompanied with a fresh newspaper, or the fitting end to a wonderful dinner with friends. The natural coloring of this dinnerware collection makes it a perfect accompaniment to a table set styled with a cool colored palette of greens and blues. Jaune de Chrome has much more table sets in this magnificent glaze. Click here to directly view Jaune de Chrome tableware available at Sallie Home.

Jaune de Chrome, Tortoise Tableware: Some Trends Last Forever

Tortoiseshell was everywhere in the 60's and 70's, but when the Hawksbill Turtle went on the endangered species list, the United Nations banned the tortoiseshell trade worldwide. But this would not stop this hot trend; manufacturers found a way to reproduce this look using a fake tortoiseshell that mimics the real thing so well that it has fooled a lot of people, including you.

Jaune de Chrome combines its innovative glazes and its knowledge of color and tone to produce their classic Tortoise Dinnerware Collection. The top-quality porcelain plates, bowls, and serving pieces are all wrapped in a realistic tortoiseshell border, edged with 24 karat gold. It's a reproduction of one of the longest lasting trends in fashion and design, and Jaune de Chrome does it perfectly. The Tortoise Dinnerware collection exemplifies why Jaune de Chrome is one of the most unique and world-renowned manufacturers in the tabletop industry.
