The Georgia Ivory Fine China from J.L. Coquet is an elegant yet simple piece of art, reminiscent of a marble statue you'd fine in an art museum. Dinnerware and Flowers: J.L. Coquet Angreacum Collection

Orchids are one of my favorite flowers. This is mainly because they were featured in one of my favorite films, "Adaptation", but also because it is truly a beautiful flower. There are many different orchids but in "Adaptation" they mention the Angreacum flower, which is a very large, star-shaped flower.

J.L. Coquet created a dinnerware collection which uses this very unique and delicate flower in its design. The Angreacum collection by J.L. Jean Louis Coquet New Introductions; Romantic Jericho Black Stemware

Jean-Louis Coquet has some New Introductions to their already stunning dinnerware collection; mainly in the areas of stemware and flatware. Out of these new collections, the Jericho Black stemware caught my eye.

The Jericho collection by J.L Coquet joins a hot tableware trend of opaque stemware, coming in many different colors, including a non-opaque crystal clear and my favorite, Black. This crystalware is cutting edge and perfect for the modern table; yet, this stemware is sleek with elegant curves - very reminiscent of what I imagine medieval stemware to look like. The opaque black Jericho stemware, which comes in a champagne saucer, flute, martini, water, and a white wine glass, is very romantic and will create the prefect atmosphere for a dinner date.

I love finding new and interesting china patterns. Sometimes my table set is not fit for classic, flowery dinnerware patterns that so many manufacturers feature. This is why I love J.L. In my opinion, simplicity is best, especially when it comes to selecting fine china. It is like the little black dress of tabletops. You can change the whole look of the china just by adding accessories or accent pieces; something as little as a napkin or glass. The Hemisphere Collection is simply white porcelain that is enhanced by its texture and its rim, which comes in many different colors. One can choose from the Hemisphere Cream, Matte Gold, Matte Platinum, or White; all of which are simple yet elegant. The dinnerware in this collection is great, however, my favorite part of the Hemisphere collection is the service pieces and the simple accent pieces of the dinnerware. The rim soup plate comes with a lid which adds a lot to the presentation and also to the bowl's function by keeping the food hot. The service pieces are really spice up this collection's simple look, making it more unique and avant-garde. Some of the pieces, like the teapot or the creamer, separate themselves with their unique form and shape. Jean Louis Coquet is a well-known manufacturer of one-of-a-kind chinaware. J.L. Coquet came from the Limoges, France, like many great producers of porcelain.
